How do I best care for our fresh tree?

When the tree is brought into your home, saw off at least an inch of the base and immediately place it in a stand with water. A fresh tree can use up to 4L of water a day so make sure you water your tree daily for the first few days. Trees are thirsty!

If you do not want to put your tree up right away, store it in a protected, shady, unheated area in a bucket of water.

If you allow the water level to drop below the base of the tree, a seal can form and will prevent the tree from taking in water; just like a cut flower.

Keep your tree away from ALL heat sources including windows. Direct sunlight should be avoided.

If a fresh tree is well cared-for and watered, it can last 4-6 weeks.

What types of tree do you have?

We offer Balsam and Fraser Fir to cut and carry as well as pre-cut Spruce trees. To learn more on the types of trees we offer head here.
